Terms of Sale

1. Who we are

KIVU Leaf Limited (RC 9572141) is a company registered in Nigeria with its office at 10A Daffodil Street, Peninsula Garden Estate, Sangotedo, Lagos. We import single-origin Rwandan tea, pack it in Lagos, and sell it wholesale to appointed distributors and at retail through this website. You can reach us at info@kivuleaf.com.

2. What a distributor buys

A distributor buys sealed cartons of tea from KIVU Leaf at the wholesale price shown for their order size on the day of purchase. There is no joining fee, membership fee, or subscription. Every naira a distributor pays to KIVU Leaf is payment for physical stock that is delivered to them and that they own outright.

Wholesale prices are published on this website and may change. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you place your order.

3. Resale price

KIVU Leaf publishes a recommended resale price per pack so that customers pay a consistent price across Nigeria. A distributor keeps the difference between the wholesale price they paid and the price at which they actually sell each pack.

4. No income guarantee

KIVU Leaf does not guarantee any level of income, profit, or sales volume. Any figures shown on this website are worked examples based on the published wholesale and resale prices and assume that every pack is sold at the resale price. What a distributor actually earns depends entirely on how many packs they sell, at what price, and the costs they incur. Many factors, including local demand and the effort of the distributor, affect this.

5. No payment for recruitment

KIVU Leaf does not pay anyone for introducing, signing up, or recruiting other distributors or resellers. A distributor earns only from tea they sell. Volume rebates, where offered, are calculated on packs a distributor has bought from KIVU Leaf and sold, and are never based on the number of people a distributor has introduced.

6. Volume rebates

From time to time KIVU Leaf may offer a one-time rebate to distributors whose total packs sold cross a stated threshold. Thresholds and rebate amounts are published on this website and may be changed or withdrawn for future periods at our discretion. A rebate is paid once, after the threshold is reached and verified from order records.

7. Territories

KIVU Leaf aims to appoint one distributor per area. Retail orders placed on this website from an area are routed to the distributor covering that area. Appointment to an area is at our discretion, depends on availability, and may be reviewed if a distributor is inactive.

8. Ordering, payment and delivery

Orders are placed through the distributor dashboard or the retail shop on this website and are paid in Nigerian naira. Delivery is arranged by KIVU Leaf. Some order sizes include free delivery; where delivery is charged, the charge is shown before you pay. Delivery times are estimates and depend on your location.

9. Returns and damaged stock

If stock arrives damaged or short, tell us within 48 hours of delivery at info@kivuleaf.com with photographs and your order number, and we will replace the affected packs or refund them. Because tea is a food product, we cannot accept returns of opened packs or of stock that has been correctly delivered simply because it has not sold.

10. Leaving

A distributor can stop at any time. There is no penalty, notice period, or ongoing obligation. Stock already delivered remains the property of the distributor.

11. Conduct

Distributors sell KIVU Leaf tea in their own name and are responsible for their own conduct with customers. Distributors must not make claims about income, health benefits, or guaranteed sales that KIVU Leaf has not published, and must not present KIVU Leaf as an investment or a recruitment scheme.
